| ST84 Added: 12/26/04 I made this Dublin months ago when I was experimenting with the walnut oil and carnuba/beeswax/walnut oil finish. I'd been intending to smoke it myself; too many pipes to test, too little smoking time. My friend Chet Gottfried has a briar with this finish, and recently reported that it hasn't darkened with repeated smoking. I suspect that the walnut oil prevents the tobacco 'juice' from moving through the briar. The 7/8" diameter tobacco chamber is 1 5/8" deep. The bowl is 1 7/8" tall, with 5/16" thick walls. Length is 5 5/8". Grade: 3 Weight: 1 3/4 oz Price: SOLD Send an email if you have questions about this pipe. |
