This big fella is gunacaste, with a cocobolo ferrule. The guancaste, which I started fooling with a year ago when a friend brought me a chunk from Costa Rica, has proven to be a fine pipe wood . It's light, durable, and gives a good smoke. This freehand has a 3 3/4" tall bowl, with 1/2" thick walls. Length is 8 3/4".
