This pipe is made from pawlonia, with a briar spacer. I was skeptical about pawlonia as a pipe wood when a friend of mine brought me a chunk. It feels like balsawood.He told me it doesn't burn well, having tried some in his woodstove. A test pipe has nearly four hundred bowls through it and is still holding up fine. This pipe has a 3/4" diameter tobacco chamber, 1 3/4" deep. The bowl is 2" tall, with 5/8" thick walls. Length is 7".
